The Story of Car 🚗 and Gav ❤️

It all started at FBLA NLC 2024, where I met my amazing little girlfriend, Carissa Yu, and we sang white girl music together at the Orlando airport like we were in our own coming-of-age movie. After a few nights, with the assistance of a small boba drink, we ended up on a Floridian rooftop at 6 a.m., admiring two views: the beautiful sunrise… and the even more beautiful girl standing next to me. From July to February, we had the longest, most amazing talking stage known to mankind. And somewhere within those seven months, Mr. Poke runs, Larkstone Park dates, cookie baking, and a ski trip where we both almost died (but didn't). I like to call it trauma bonding (i guess Valderrama wasn't enough). Then came February 5th. Our anniversary. After demolishing some yummy Chipotle on the side of Larkstone Park while watching the sunset, you, my love, decided to hold pinkies with me. And just like that, Gavin and Carissa became official. A week and a half later was Valentine’s Day. I picked you up from a Dreamcatchers event, we got ramen at Koji Ramen, somehow snuck into the Walnut High School stadium, froze to death while cuddling, and then I dropped you home and saw baby Carissa posted on the wall. The next night? I got hard launched to approximately 50 billion people. And turning 18, I watched you have the most amazing birthday ever (featuring a bouncy house) surrounding by everyone that loves and supportws my amazing girlfriend. And now, one year later, everything feels like it’s come full circle. I get to be with the one I love, and we have now given birth to the story of how Gav and Car.
